About the show: Prizzy Prizzy Please, a group now in Chicago, but originally from Bloomington, Indiana, are great friends of the stand. They played The Banana Stand as a special stop on their west coast tour, bringing out a huge crowd for the show. The Shivas, a young group of musicians inspired by 1960's psychedelia got the night started. The Un closed with their excellent brand of saxophone lead garage rock. Packing three bands into one night was just too much to handle, and this ended up being the last night we would attempt such a thing. The recording of Prizzy Prizzy Please from the evening is available, in its entirety, as a free download.
While staying at The Banana Stand during a later tour, Prizzy Prizzy Please recorded an three-song concept album as ‘Roid Rage and the Weight Machine’ in one afternoon. The tracks are titled ‘Coach is an Asshole’, ‘More Home Runs Than You’, and ‘So Many Reps’. It's really fucking awesome.
